So I have been doing this game for roughly 5 years. I have subbed in various school districts: stepping in when the teacher is gone. I have done everything from Autoshop at the high school to kindergarten art. I look at subbing as an adventure and variety is the spice of life (so my mom taught me). I have been the sub and almost 4 years ago I realized that I needed more work especially when summer rolls around and I don't have as frequent subbing available to me. I went and gathered applications as well as did some online stuff. I received a phone call less than a week later and was hired at a big box retail store. I won't say names. I was a killer employee. I put my customers first and exercised that "they are always right" even if they weren't mantra. Well I played that game for almost 5 years and it went fine and I was good. I made my bills and had a little to have fun like the occasional date night with my husband.
Well in the last year I gained a department head. On the outside they were all saccharine sweet like a grandparent or a mythical character but that was all it was. I was female and I was not on his good list or good side by any means. I started using words that should may have not. Words like "fair workplace" "human resources manager" "awareline." Long story-short I know longer work there.
